Your first wristband, without the rush
Qualifiers, then the Horizon Invitational. That pair is the door. We walk the order so you do not burn a night on events that stay locked until the band is on your wrist.
Gantry Notes is an independent fan desk for Forza Horizon 6, the Playground Games festival set across Japan. We write about the road from tourist to Horizon Legend: seven wristbands, Horizon Rush, Time Attack gantries, and the Festival Playlist that opened with Welcome to Japan. The game reached Xbox Series X|S and PC on 19 May 2026, with Premium early access from 15 May, and PlayStation 5 on 26 January 2027. Nothing here is an official store. We do not sell the game, credits, or cars, and we are not Microsoft, Xbox, or Playground Games.

Seasons in Forza Horizon 6 move harder than they did in Mexico. Crops, foliage, weather, and even the sound bed change, so a pass you learned in spring does not drive the same in autumn. Alpine snow stays available year-round if you bring the right tyres. Our notes track those shifts without pretending a single tune works in every week of the Festival Playlist. Check the in-game week before you chase a reward car, because series points and seasonal unlocks expire when the playlist rolls on.

Horizon Mascot Party brought ten reward cars, three of them new to Horizon: the 1970 Honda N600, the 2024 Camaro ZL1, and the 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8.
Playground Games showed the next festival during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show stream. The studio, based in Leamington Spa since 2010, had heard the destination request for years.
