Who builds the festival
Playground Games, founded in 2010 in Leamington Spa, makes the Horizon series. The Japan setting was shown on 25 September 2025 during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show stream, then confirmed again by the studio on 23 October 2025. Xbox Series X|S and PC launched on 19 May 2026, Premium early access began 15 May, and PlayStation 5 arrived on 26 January 2027 with Turn 10 alongside Playground on that version. The cover pairs the 2025 GR GT Prototype with the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser.
