Short reads on Forza Horizon 6, grouped the way the festival is built: road, dirt and cross country, then the events that sit in the shared world. Times are reading times, not prices. Nothing on this page is for sale. If a car was a playlist reward, we name the points and the window Playground published, and we say when that window has closed.

Road shelf

Tarmac themes open as your wristband climbs. Start with the C1-style loop and Ginko Avenue, then take the cover cars—the 2025 GR GT Prototype and the 2025 Land Cruiser—once the class gate allows them.

Ginko Avenue · 7 min

A downtown photo strip near Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower. Brake early for the crossing, then use the straight for a clean speed trap rather than a messy overtake.

GR GT Prototype · 11 min

Toyota Gazoo Racing’s road-legal race car makes its game debut on this cover. It is quick on the C1 loop and nervous if you trail-brake too deep into a damp hairpin.

Dirt and cross country

Festival races use Road, Dirt, and Cross Country with their own car themes. Alpine snow stays on the map all year, so a summer playlist week can still demand snow tyres on Bandai Azuma.

Mt. Haruna · 9 min

The pass punishes late braking. Use a lighter rear-drive car for the first clear, then replay with the Race Customizer once the event unlocks free car choice.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR notes

Evo IX MR · 8 min

The 2006 Lancer Evolution IX MR was a summer reward in Welcome to Japan at 30 points, 21–28 May 2026. Its 2.0-litre four and all-wheel drive suit wet dirt better than a low coupe.

PR Stunts, Bonus Boards, Time Attack gantries, and drag meets all feed wristband progress. Drag strips hold twelve cars. Roll up, stage, wait for the lights.

Docks Horizon Rush · 14 min

Obstacle runs are new for this festival. The docks course is the one that gates an early band. Miss a gate and you lose more time than a bad exit on a normal race.

Time Attack gantry · 6 min

Drive through the gantry in any car and the lap starts. Credits and XP pay per lap. There is no lobby. If players are already there, you are already in their session.
